Overview
Ebury is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for international teams from Bucharest, ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and close collaboration with HR and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure tax and legal compliance across supported regions
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate payroll data and records
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll operations (global payroll experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Romanian payroll regulations and international payroll concepts
- Experience with payroll software and HRIS
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills in English
