Ebury is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for international teams from Bucharest, ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and close collaboration with HR and Finance.

Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll for multiple jurisdictions
Ensure tax and legal compliance across supported regions
Coordinate with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate payroll data and records
Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll
Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end activities

Requirements

Proven experience in payroll operations (global payroll experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of Romanian payroll regulations and international payroll concepts
Experience with payroll software and HRIS
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information
Excellent communication skills in English
