Overview
FX Commercial Analyst at Ebury in Madrid. You will support the FX trading desk with market analysis, pricing, and commercial decision-making. Analyze currency movements, monitor hedging strategies, and help optimize profitability for clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with Sales, Risk, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze FX exposures and currency flows to inform pricing and deal structuring
- Support pricing, profitability analysis, and hedging decisions
- Build and maintain financial models and dashboards (Excel, SQL)
- Monitor market data and macro events to provide timely insights
- Prepare performance reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Sales, Risk, and Operations to drive process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; SQL skills are a plus
- Familiarity with FX markets, hedging concepts, and financial modelling
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish language skills are beneficial
