We are seeking a Data Scientist to help build data-driven products and scalable analytics for our payments platform in Madrid. This role offers the opportunity to turn complex data into actionable insights that directly impact customer experience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy predictive models to optimize FX pricing, risk evaluation, and customer onboarding.
Analyze large, diverse datasets to extract actionable insights and drive data-informed decision making.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to translate business problems into data solutions.
Design experiments, measure outcomes, and communicate results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and SQL.
Experience with machine learning and statistical modeling.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and Jupyter notebooks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
