Overview
Join Ebury as a Business Development Manager - Embedded Finance / Payments. This London-based role focuses on identifying and closing strategic partnerships that integrate embedded payments and financial services into client solutions. You will work with product, partnerships, and sales teams to identify opportunities, design commercial models, and manage end-to-end delivery from deal to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close embedded finance and payments partnership opportunities with fintechs, banks, merchants, and SaaS providers.
- Build and manage a scalable partner pipeline, conduct early discovery, and craft compelling value propositions.
- Negotiate terms, structure commercial agreements, and coordinate with legal and product to ensure successful integrations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define integration requirements and roadmaps for embedded payments.
- Manage partner relationships post-close, monitor performance, and drive joint go-to-market activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop GTM strategies, collateral, and enablement materials.
- Contribute to a high-growth fintech environment by identifying new revenue opportunities and partnerships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or alliances in fintech/payments or enterprise SaaS.
- Strong network in fintech, payments ecosystems, and/or ecommerce.
- Proven track record of closing multi-year deals and managing partner relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in London on-site or hybrid as required.
