Business Development Manager - Embedded Finance / Payments

Overview

Ebury is a global fintech that enables international payments, currency risk management, and embedded finance solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. We’re seeking a focused, ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth of our Embedded Finance and Payments offerings from Amsterdam.

What you'll do

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for embedded payments and related APIs.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of partnerships with fintechs, platforms, and merchants in Europe.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
• Negotiate terms, close deals, and drive revenue growth against targets.
• Represent Ebury at industry events and customer meetings; provide market feedback to leadership.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategy.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in B2B business development, partnerships, or sales within fintech or payments.
• Experience with embedded finance or API-based payments is a plus.
• Strong network across European markets and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple deals from outreach to close.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
