Information Security Team Leader

Job Description

EBANX is seeking an Information Security Team Leader to guide and scale our information security program from Curitiba, Brazil. This leadership role directs the security team, defines strategy, manages risk, oversees incident response, and ensures compliance across the organization. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and operations to protect customer data and support secure growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the information security team, setting clear goals and metrics.
• Develop and implement security strategy, controls, and incident response plans.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to embed security in development processes.
• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and third-party security reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, LGPD).
• Monitor security posture, report to leadership, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in information security leadership or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of security governance, risk management, threat modeling, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud security and secure software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
