About EBANX

EBANX is a leading fintech focused on payments and fraud prevention across emerging markets. This on-site role is based in Curitiba and offers an opportunity to help protect EBANX customers and merchants from fraud and financial losses.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze transactions to detect potentially fraudulent activity across EBANX payment platforms.
Investigate alerts and cases; collaborate with Payments, Risk, Security, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
Develop and tune fraud rules, thresholds, and monitoring dashboards to reduce false positives and caught fraud.
Perform data-driven analysis to identify fraud patterns, trends, and exposure; report findings to stakeholders.
Contribute to incident response and post-incident reviews, documenting learnings and improvements.
Provide guidance and best practices on fraud prevention to merchants and internal teams.

Requirements

Experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or payments industry.
Strong analytical skills; ability to work with data, dashboards, and SQL/Excel or BI tools.
Knowledge of fraud detection methods, including rule-based systems; experience with ML is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence across teams.
Willingness to work on-site in Curitiba.
