Wildfires are a $20 trillion dollar crisis. At Earth Force, we're developing cutting-edge technology that dramatically increases the pace and scale of fuels reduction and forest thinning activities. Our aim is to create resilient forests and protect people and communities from the devastating effects of wildfire.

We are seeking a Technical Field Integration Lead to join our team.  This role is critical to bridge the gap between our new technology and our customers’ existing machinery and practices.  You will ensure fast and reliable integration of our solutions into our clients’ heavy forestry equipment at the project site.  If you are a hands-on problem solver, with a knack for building relationships, and a passion for innovation we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of new technology into heavy forestry equipment, ensuring safe and efficient installations.

  • Support deployed hardware with in-field troubleshooting and hardware and data management activities.

  • Assess and adapt to the mechanical and electrical systems of heavy forestry equipment during hardware and cabling integration.

  • Maintain safety standards by identifying and mitigating potential hazards during installation and operation.

  • Communicate effectively with equipment operators, explaining the benefits of the technologies while addressing any concerns.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams on system performance, usability, and areas for improvement.

  • Execute, refine, and document our integration processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with heavy equipment in industries such as forestry, agriculture, or construction.

  • Mechanical and Electrical skills, including knowledge of power systems, wiring, cable management, and mounting techniques.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges in field environments.

  • Familiarity with safety practices and protocols when working around heavy machinery.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with operators and internal teams.

  • Physical competence around forestry hardware and ability to lift heavy objects. 65lb military press.

  • Willingness to travel and enjoyment of rural communities. 25-50% travel expectation
