DVM Student Externship - Philadelphia

📋 Description

• Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mentorship-driven clinic
• Work with patients and assist procedures
• Observe surgeries and engage with pet parents
• Learn under experienced doctors and the veterinary team
• Gain exposure to urgent care and routine wellness

🎯 Requirements

• 3rd or 4th year AVMA-accredited DVM student
• Must be enrolled in vet school to apply
• Willing to learn, collaborative, and able to work with a team
• Ability to work independently and with confidentiality
• Effective communication skills
• Must lift up to 40 pounds and perform related physical tasks
• Provide proof of medical insurance, rabies vaccine/titer, tetanus, TB test
• Must select preferred region; clinic assigned during interview
