DVM Student Externship - Long Island

📋 Description

• Gain hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced vet clinic.
• Work with patients, assist procedures, observe surgeries under guidance.
• Engage with pet parents under mentorship from clinicians.
• Exposure to urgent care and routine wellness cases.
• Mentorship from Bond Vet doctors and team.
• Externship runs 2–3 weeks; must be enrolled in DVM program.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year AVMA-accredited DVM program.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn; strong communication skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and performing physical tasks.
• Provide proof of medical insurance, rabies vaccine/titer, tetanus, and a recent TB test.
• Must have permission from school to participate.
