Product Designer

Role overview

Product Designer at Durable. Durable is seeking a Product Designer to help shape the user experience of our software products. This remote role (Canada) collaborates with product, engineering, and design teams to define product direction, create user-centered designs, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs. You will contribute to end-to-end product definitions, user research, and iterating on feedback to deliver products that meet user needs and business goals. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Design and iteratively improve user experiences across web and mobile products using Figma or similar tools.
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs; contribute to and maintain a scalable design system.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize insights to inform design decisions.
• Advocate for users, balance business goals, and communicate design rationale clearly with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of product design experience in software or SaaS environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, problem solving, and a user-centric approach.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or InVision; experience with design systems and accessibility.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and iteration based on feedback.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work remotely and autonomously.
