About the role
Duolingo is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing team in New York. You will craft engaging, on-brand social content across platforms, collaborate with product and design teams, and help grow Duolingo's global community. This role requires a creative storyteller with a keen eye for trends, strong copywriting, and the ability to translate language-learning features into compelling social narratives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content calendar for social channels
- Produce multimedia posts (copy, visuals, video, etc.) across platforms
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create on-brand content
- Test and optimize content based on engagement metrics
- Monitor trends and audiences to inform content strategy
- Measure impact via engagement, reach, and other KPIs
Qualifications
- Experience creating social content for consumer brands
- Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work in social media/content creation
- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities
