Overview
Duolingo is hiring a DET Strategic Engagement Manager for Europe to lead strategic partnerships and initiatives across the region. In this role you will manage key accounts, develop regional partner strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of Duolingo's education products in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a Europe-wide partner strategy focusing on education institutions, corporate learning programs, and government initiatives.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, nurture relationships, and negotiate terms.
- Lead cross-functional projects with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure successful partner onboarding and adoption.
- Represent Duolingo at events and conferences in Europe; gather market feedback to influence product roadmap.
- Track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and drive growth in the region.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales, preferably in EdTech or education services.
- Demonstrated success in Europe across multiple markets; strong stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence at executive levels.
- Fluency in English; German or other European languages a plus.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
