Shopper Insights Client Lead at dunnhumby
Overview
We’re seeking a Senior-level professional to join dunnhumby as a Shopper Insights Client Lead. This full-time, on-site role is based in Virginia and focuses on delivering data-driven shopper insights to guide client marketing and retail decisions. You will lead client engagements, translate analytics into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business impact for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of shopper insights programs for assigned clients from kickoff to delivery.
- Analyze shopper data (e.g., transaction data, loyalty data, foot traffic) to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities.
- Translate analytics into clear client-ready stories and recommendations using visualizations (Tableau, Power BI).
- Manage client relationships, expectations, timelines, and deliverables; communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and account teams to ensure the delivery of high-impact insights.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices in shopper insights.
- Ensure data quality, methodological rigor, and adherence to project budgets and scopes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in shopper insights, consumer analytics, or related field.
- Strong data analysis skills with SQL and Excel; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and ability to present insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, data science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Virginia; travel as needed.
