Senior Legal Counsel – Technology, AI & Procurement at dunnhumby in London. This in-house role provides strategic legal support for technology initiatives, AI projects and procurement activities.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate technology agreements, licensing and SaaS contracts
Provide guidance on data privacy, data protection laws (GDPR) and AI-related regulatory issues
Counsel on procurement processes, vendor selection and contractual risk management
Partner with product, engineering and commercial teams to enable innovation while protecting company interests
Support IP, open-source and regulatory compliance considerations in technology projects

Requirements

Qualified lawyer with significant experience in technology and/or corporate/commercial law
Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts and procurement agreements
Solid knowledge of data privacy laws, especially GDPR, and AI governance
Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
