Role Overview

Role: Payroll Lead – Sao Paulo, Full-time, On-site. This role leads payroll operations for the region, ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance with Brazilian regulations. You will partner with HR, Finance and external vendors to deliver reliable payroll services and insightful payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for Brazil, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian payroll regulations, tax withholdings, and social security contributions.
• Manage relationships with payroll vendors and HRIS providers; maintain data integrity and controls.
• Produce payroll reports and analytics for management; support auditing and internal controls.
• Collaborate with HR on onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and changes affecting payroll.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in Brazil; knowledge of local tax, social security, and benefits systems.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, local BR payroll systems).
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and data privacy mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese (native) with English as a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
