Role overview
dunnhumby is seeking a Marketing Lead (Media) based in London to own the media strategy and execution that drives customer-focused growth. This leadership role partners with cross-functional teams to inform campaigns with data-driven insights and deliver measurable business impact across channels.
What you will do
- Define and own the end-to-end media strategy for key brands and products, aligned with business goals and audience insights.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across channels (display, social, programmatic, search), ensuring optimal ROI and brand lift.
- Collaborate with data, analytics, and product teams to translate customer insights into targeted media plans and performance benchmarks.
- Lead budget management, forecasting, performance reporting, and post-campaign analyses to inform future investments.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a data-driven, collaborative culture.
- Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure creative excellence and testing frameworks (A/B tests, multivariate tests) are applied effectively.
Who you are
- 5+ years of marketing/media experience, preferably in retail, CPG, or data-driven environments.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful paid media campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to optimize audience targeting, bidding, and creative testing.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with digital media platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, DV360) and marketing analytics tools.
