As a Trade Data Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing trade-related data processes to support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, validating, and maintaining large datasets related to trade activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data discrepancies, support reporting needs, and contribute to continuous improvements in data workflows and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and maintain trade-related datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Validate and reconcile trade data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Support daily operational processes related to trade data management, including monitoring data flows and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Compliance, Finance, Technology) to understand data requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of tools and dashboards for trade data reporting and monitoring.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Document data processes and contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in audits and regulatory reporting by providing accurate and timely data.
  • Proactively troubleshoot data-related issues and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in data operations, trade support, or a similar role within financial services or a production-based environment is beneficial but not a must.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools; experience with SQL or data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Continuous learning attitude and willingness to collaborate across teams.
  • Fluency in English language. Any additional languages are a plus.
