We are looking for an inspirational Technology Leader to join our dynamic team in Helsinki!

This critical role will have overall accountability for the Finland tech function, leading a talented team of 10. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive technological transformation in close partnership with the local leadership and our international technology team. As a highly effective communicator, the tech leader will develop technology strategies and processes to modernize the local market, ensuring alignment with business priorities and objectives.

The Role:

  • Stakeholder management for Finland, representing Technology in the Finnish Leadership team and representing Tech for Finland in the International Technology team.
  • Develop the strategy and process for modernizing the Finnish market, including product, resourcing and back office.
  • Work in partnership with the project leads, define, track and manage these projects to ensure delivery to budget and committed timelines
  • Develop the vendor and location strategies for Finland, looking to utilize Technology centers in addition to the local market resource
  • Ensuring SLAs,metrics andcontinuous improvement measuresare in place andcan be demonstrated.
  • Manage the Finnish market Tech budget, understanding, challenging and proactively managing their cost and time position to mitigate potential delays and identify efficiencies
  • Identify any dependencies, risks and issues and ensure mitigation plans in place creating weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports to highlight progress, call our risks and ensure alignment across Technology.
  • Work closely with regional representatives from multiple global teams to ensure an effective cross-functional approach
  • Act as pivotal connection between the Technology delivery team and the commercial business to ensure requirements and timelines are understood and aligned
  • Coach, develop and challenge project teams (direct reports or otherwise) to a successful implementation
  • Effectively communicate timely and relevant updates to multiple stakeholder groups
  • About You:

  • Proven track record of leading a major Technology programmes as a senior project manager or director
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with experience of managing complex projects and performance management of suppliers
  • Strong Technology background – knowledge of agile delivery practices, large scale data platforms and Java
  • Ability to define and implement KPI’s around quality, efficiency and delivery for large distributed scrum teams.
  • Exceptional multi-tasker, strategic and tactical thinker
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt while maintaining the highest attention to detail
  • Relationship management, able to build and maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues
  • Understanding of relevant data legislation and privacy compliance across Europe
  • Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role we believe you have 10+ years of leadership experience relating to critical Domains or Programmes.
  • You have extensive project management skills with a focus on business-centric projects.
  • You have the ability to develop governance methodologies as an integral part of successful programme execution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of leaders, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Able to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable skills in presenting information effectively and delivering effective reporting mechanisms.
  • Familiar with software development industry standards.
  • Able to manage and prioritize competing requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, decision making and analytical skills. Able to produce high quality, effective and thorough documentation. You have strong technical aptitude of Microsoft.Office, Atlassian tools, Java and / or .NET.
  • Full work proficiency in Finnish & English.
