Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting quality engineering activities for D&B applications. In addition, you will work closely with a geographically distributed cross-functional software development teams as well as product managers. Develop the automation framework and automate the critical and new features using the latest tools and technologies. You are a creative thinker, and you work well with others and understand the power of teamwork in order to solve problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure product quality in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proactively drive quality through collaboration, process improvement, innovative thinking, root cause analysis and experience
  • Write test plans and test cases for web applications, REST APIs, and data validation in a multi-tiered environment processing millions of rows of data
  • Execute manual tests for new features and bug fixes
  • Create and execute automated test cases for UI and API-level verification
  • Identify, report, track, and verify issues
  • Work with the support team to understand and troubleshoot customer issues
  • Support the product team during bi-weekly product deployments to ensure flawless releases with extreme quality
  • Take ownership of projects and provide leadership for the team

Key Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering with strong computer science fundamentals
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in functional and automation testing
  • Playwright knowledge and programming experience
  • Knowledge of REST Assured
  • Knowledge in Git repository management
  • Strong foundation in RDBMS, SQL and automation testing (Playwright) API testing for handling complex distributed systems
