Overview

Dun & Bradstreet Technology and Corporate Services India LLP is looking for candidates for the role of Senior Analyst to support the Data Science team in Data Visualization analytics. The candidate needs to work closely with the team based in India and across a range of Analytics leaders who are located globally to fulfill the deliverables on a timely basis

Key Skills

Strong background in Data Visualization and Geographic Information System (GIS) visualization. Ability to apply UI/UX design principles to develop visually appealing, intuitive and interactive dashboards that meets the needs of diverse audiences. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, Data Analysis, familiarity in working with large datasets, experience in diverse data warehouses.

Primary Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To

Responsible for Leveraging Data Visualization tools such as Power BI/Google Looker, GIS tools and data analytics to develop insightful and interactive dashboards, helping drive decision making and strategic initiative within the organization

Extracting large data from various data sources using multiple tools such as SQL/Python/PySpark/BigQuery/ etc., to perform data wrangling, transformations and integrate it to the Data Visualization tool

Utilize GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or integrate Power BI with GIS to develop geospatial visualization and location-based analytics. Integrate spatial data with non spatial datasets

Work closely with all Stakeholders and business leaders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights through visualization and story telling

Develop executive level dashboards, identifying key trends and patterns in the data

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, stay up to date with the latest techniques and concepts in data visualization technologies, GIS methodologies and suggest enhancements to existing processes and visual solutions based on emerging trends

Requirements

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics / Data Visualization roles

Proficiency in data visualization tools(Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark for advanced data manipulation

Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like Google Cloud Databricks

Familiarity with spatial data formats – Shapefiles, GeoJSON and geospatial analysis techniques

Experience in creating automated dashboards with real time data updates

Ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful business insights

Experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Excellent verbal, written communication, attention to detail and presentation skills
