The Role:

D&B is at the forefront of digital innovation, leveraging extensive web data to enhance our services and customer experiences. We are looking for a dedicated Data Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, focusing on ensuring the highest standard of data integrity in our URL and web data analyses.The role will include continuous improvement as a measure of success and drive to deliver improvements across our web scraping applications. The candidate will bring a high-performance analytical mindset to the platform, share KPIs and collaborate closely with internal teams, Cloud Ops and SRE, and related business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Quality Management: Develop and implement data quality standards, metrics, and checks across our web and URL data repositories. Identify, diagnose, and resolve data quality issues, collaborating with data analytics and engineering teams to implement fixes. Establish automated systems for ongoing data quality checks and alerts to maintain and enhance data integrity.
  • URL and Web Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of URL data to ensure accuracy and functionality across our platforms. Analyze web data to detect patterns indicating data anomalies or errors. Contribute insights from quality assessments to support optimization and enhancements.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Work closely with web developers, data analysts, and marketing teams to understand data requirements and ensure that data quality goals are met. Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies when handling and analyzing data. Provide training and support to teams on best practices for data quality.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Document data quality issues and the outcomes of corrective measures to inform future processes. Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and improvements for stakeholders and management. Maintain detailed records of data quality tests and system updates.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in an accessible manner.
