The Data Operations Analyst

The Data Operations Analyst will gather, match, validate and update our education data set using MS SQL & MS Access, as well as research and answer customer questions and help resolve customer issues. The Data Operations Analyst focuses on gathering and updating critical data sets so that customers can connect to the most influential people in the world...Teachers.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Apply analytical mindset in collection, organization and delivery of large data sets across multiple channels and sources.
  • Preview and test data to ensure high quality, accuracy and confidence.
  • Identify continuous improvements to data collection and delivery processes.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external team members on data compilation, analysis and quality of our data set.
  • Proactively analyze and troubleshoot problems and issues associated with the data. Assess the criticality of the issue and escalate for timely resolution, participate in solution of the issue.

Experience and Competencies

  • Working proficiency with MS Access.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Ability to audit data across multiple systems to ensure alignment.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, statistics and/or data manipulation a plus.
  • Ability to learn and apply technology and tools.
  • Excellent organization, decision making and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative / applied field and/or 2+ years of professional experience.
