The role
The Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, driving insights into business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The analyst will collaborate closely with financial controllers and commercial teams to ensure compliance, optimize processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile monthly sales data for commission calculations in partnership with Global Sales Compensation.
- Drive commission calculation, support target setting and management, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to financial statement preparation and performance reporting across timeframes.
- Deliver clear insights into business drivers and trends through sharp commentary.
- Collaborate with Controllers for accurate, timely reporting and compliance.
- Analyze multi-source data to uncover opportunities and guide strategic actions.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting across business units.
- Ensure adherence to Group financial policies and controls.
Skills
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with experience in Commercial Finance or Sales Ops.
- Advanced Excel skills (macros/VBA) and strong analytical mindset.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with precision and insight.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, ERP, and BI tools is a plus.
- Ownership mindset with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration.
- Committed to continuous learning and growth.
- Fluent in German and English and other relevant market languages.
