DSP Engineer, Satellites (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Drive program-level decisions on firmware and software designs
• Research solutions for long-distance free-space and fiber links
• Design and test algorithms for on-orbit and ground data processing
• Collaborate with FPGA, RF/antenna, and software teams to validate comms
• Perform on-orbit demonstrations and testing
• Develop models and simulations to evaluate system and modem performance

🎯 Requirements

• BS in CS/CE/EE and 1+ yrs DSP exp, or 3+ yrs DSP exp in lieu of degree
• 1+ yrs designing and verifying modems and sensors
• 1+ yrs developing DSP algorithms in Python, Matlab, or C/C++
• 1+ yrs of system-level modeling and/or DSP
• Preferred: Master’s in EE with emphasis in communication systems or DSP
• Preferred: Floating-point and fixed-point modeling in Python/Matlab/C++
