Senior Backend Product Software Engineer, Bridge FSS & Dash

Job Description

Dropbox is seeking a Senior Backend Product Software Engineer to join the Bridge FSS & Dash teams. In this role, you will design, build, and scale backend services that power Bridge FSS and Dash, collaborating with product managers, designers, and platform teams to deliver impactful features.

Responsibilities

\n
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs for Bridge FSS & Dash
\n
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
\n
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and platform teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
\n
• Improve system reliability, observability, security, and performance
\n
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership
\n
• Contribute to roadmaps and technical direction
\n

Qualifications

\n
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
\n
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
\n
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
\n
• Experience with distributed systems, REST/GraphQL APIs, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
\n
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
\n
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring/observability
\n
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
