Chief of Staff to the CEO

Overview

Dropbox is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to accelerate strategic initiatives, enable executive decision-making, and drive alignment across the company. This executive-support role partners with the CEO and the leadership team to translate strategy into actionable programs, manage top priorities, and improve cross-functional collaboration as Dropbox continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to define and drive strategic priorities and company-wide initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional program management, tracking milestones, risks, and outcomes.
• Prepare materials for executive leadership meetings, board updates, and internal communications.
• Align teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to execute strategic initiatives.
• Build scalable processes, operating rhythms, and performance metrics to improve execution.
• Lead special projects and critical initiatives with a bias for action and clear ownership.
• Foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or business management at a senior level.
• Strong program management, project management, and operational execution skills.
• Proven ability to influence across executive teams and work without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
