Developer Experience Lead

Overview

DriveWealth is seeking a Senior Developer Experience Lead to own the developer experience strategy for our API platform. You will partner with Engineering, Product, and Developer Relations to improve API documentation, onboarding, SDKs, sample code, tooling, and the developer portal to accelerate adoption by developers inside and outside DriveWealth.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the developer experience strategy for DriveWealth APIs
• Lead initiatives to improve API docs, tutorials, samples, SDKs, and the developer portal
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Compliance to meet developer needs while maintaining standards
• Build and track DX metrics; own onboarding and developer success programs
• Hire, mentor, and lead a small DX/Developer Relations team
• Gather feedback from external developers and fintech communities to drive adoption
• Represent DriveWealth at events and webinars when applicable

Qualifications

• 7+ years in developer experience, developer relations, platform engineering, or related roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex technical concepts to developers
• Experience building developer portals, API docs, SDKs, and samples
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and program management skills
• Familiarity with fintech APIs and security/compliance considerations is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
