One of our products, MetOptima, is a cloud-based system that provides AI-driven recommendations to metallurgists and operators. The product will have a significant impact and will make a mark in the transition to a more sustainable mining industry.
What will you be doing with us? Work as part of cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Data Scientists and DevOps Engineers to automate software delivery processes and employ DevOps/MLOps practices.Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists on data processing and ML pipelines in the Azure cloudMonitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.Keep our cloud infrastructure up-to-date with the latest technologies and security patches.Implement best practices for cloud operations and ensure high availability and performance of cloud services.Manage and optimize cloud networking, including migration projects and ongoing support.Establish and enhance site reliability through monitoring, KPIs, telemetry, and operational metrics.Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipeline.Collaborate on Infrastructure as Code (IAC) design, implementation, updates, and improvements to automate infrastructure provisioning.Promote automation across all aspects of DevOps, increasing efficiency and reducing manual interventions.Ensure secure access control and identity management within the cloud environment.Assist in various DevOps tasks and initiatives to support the team's objectives.Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and provide reference for team members. What should you know or have? Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) with solid understanding of general cloud computing concepts and services.Experience with cloud services, such as Azure VMs, Azure Storage, EC2, S3, Azure Functions or AWS Lambda.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Azure ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi).Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.Experience with cloud container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS, AKS preferred).Automation skills, including configuration management and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell, Ruby).Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, GitHub Actions.Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).Knowledge of cloud security best practices.Understanding of cloud networking, VPN setups, and database management.Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment while fostering a strong DevOps culture.Passion about automation and continuous improvement is a strong plus.Experience working in fast-paced, startup-like environments is a plus.
