The product will have a significant impact and will make a mark in the transition to a more sustainable mining industry.

About the Role:

As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our cloud-based system by developing predictive models and anomaly detection systems.

What will you be doing with us?

  • Ship high-quality predictive models and anomaly detection systemsleveragingIndustrial data from sensors and IOTdevices
  • Develop and implement end-to-end advanced analysis and ML models to support the application,utilizingcutting-edgealgorithms.
  • Collaboratewithcustomerstoidentifyopportunities fordata-driven uplift growth andoptimization
  • Write fully testable, high-qualitycode
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to generate insights andidentifytrends
  • Work with cross-functional teams including designers, data engineers and metallurgists to design, develop, and implement production-grade pipelines (data exploration, sampling, training data generation, feature engineering, model building, and performance evaluation,etc)
  • This role willinterfacewith customers; someinternationaltravel will berequired.
  • What should you know or have?

  • 5+ years of experience in data science
  • Expertisein statistical analysis, data mining, machine learning, and predictive modeling
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualizationtools
  • Good Python programming skills; good SQL knowledge;
  • Experience with cloud technologies, i.e. AWS, GCP is appreciated
  • Experience withtime seriesdatabasesanddata pipelines is aplus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technicalstakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics)required;Master'sor Ph.D.preferred
  • Proficiencyin English
