Senior Solution Architect (Public Sector) – Role Overview

As a Senior Solution Architect in Dragos' Public Sector practice, you will lead architecture engagements for government agencies and public sector organizations, translating complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions that meet stringent security and compliance standards. You will collaborate with sales, delivery, and security teams to define reference architectures, shape technical roadmaps, and guide successful implementations across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture engagements with public sector customers (federal, state, and local).
• Translate customer requirements into robust architectures and security controls.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and security teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Develop reference architectures, domain models, and technical artifacts.
• Provide technical leadership in multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Support pre-sales with technical demonstrations, RFP responses, and solution scoping.
• Ensure solutions satisfy regulatory and security standards applicable to government customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or related roles.
• Strong public sector or government-facing experience.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and secure architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
