We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineer, Full Stack (Ruby/Rails) to help build and scale the next generation of healthcare technology that empowers providers and improves patient care.

What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails-based web applications and APIs.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
Build robust APIs and integrate with external services and data sources.
Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold best practices for maintainability and performance.
Contribute to system architecture decisions, scalability improvements, and platform reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and grow the team’s technical excellence.

What we're looking for

3+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency with Ruby and Ruby on Rails; experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks (e.g., React).
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and building RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern web development tooling.
Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication.

Nice to have

Experience with Rails 6/7, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and RSpec.

Location

Hybrid role: San Francisco, CA or Remote (US).
