Senior Software Engineer (Python), Data Platform
\nDoximity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Platform team. You will design and implement Python-based data pipelines and platform components to support data-driven healthcare products.
\nResponsibilities
\n- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and analytics
- Build scalable data platform components and APIs
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product partners to translate requirements into robust data tooling
- Optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance, reliability, and cost
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction
Qualifications
\n- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python (3.x+) and SQL skills
- Experience with data engineering and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Airflow, Apache Spark, dbt, or similar tooling
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
