Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Ruby/Rails) at Doximity
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Ruby on Rails backend development and modern full-stack capabilities to join Doximity. You will design, build, and maintain features that empower healthcare professionals and clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications.
- Build and integrate frontend components and RESTful APIs for a responsive user experience.
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, well-documented code with comprehensive tests; participate in code reviews.
- Improve performance, reliability, and security of platforms used by medical professionals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience; strong full-stack capabilities.
- Experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and APIs.
- Proficiency with modern frontend technologies and testing/CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or cloud services.
- Interest in healthcare tech domain.
