Position OverviewThe Senior Product Analyst is a key player in the Product Management team and enables data-driven decisionmaking across different product areas. The Senior Product Analyst works closely with stakeholders to drive meaningful product decisions through thoughtful data analysis and key performance indicator monitoring. 

This role is part of a professional data analysis team that supports product development serving advertisers and publishers across the digital landscape, with a focus on Streaming TV. The role requires big data analyses, attention to detail, business understanding, and strong product intuition. Communication skills are incredibly important, as the position interfaces across functions.

In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must:

  •  Use SQL, Python and other data analysis tools to query and analyze data

  • Liaise with Product Managers and Engineering teams to inform data models

  • Create dashboards to track KPIs using Looker and Tableau.

  • Conduct impact analysis of proposed product changes, evaluating feature alternatives, and designing experiments. 

  • Develop an understanding of the business in order to work on analysis proactively and independently

  • Recommend key metrics to Product Managers and Product Leadership to support product support related questions and  analysis. 

  • Work on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week in the NYC office

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking

  • Hands on experience with SQL and data analysis tools

  • 3+ years of full time working experience in quantitative analysis roles 

  • Understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression types)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experiencing working across multiple teams. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field

  • Experience working with a product team on data-driven decisions

  • Experience in adtech/streaming TV is a plus.

  • Experience in Looker or Snowflake is a plus. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$135,000 - $172,000].
