Dojo is seeking an Underwriting Associate to join our Madrid-based team. In this role, you will support the underwriting process by reviewing loan applications, validating documents, and assessing risk to help us make informed lending decisions.

Responsibilities

Review and assess loan applications for creditworthiness and risk.
Gather, verify, and analyze financial information, employment data, and supporting documents.
Apply underwriting guidelines and use underwriting tools to reach timely, accurate decisions.
Collaborate with sales, product, and operations to resolve issues and improve processes.
Maintain precise records in our underwriting systems and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in underwriting or financial analysis (or related risk assessment).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret data.
Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools; familiarity with SQL or data tools is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
