Senior Account Supervisorto join our Integrated Brand Team, with a high focus on consumer and business media relations across both national and local outlets, influencer engagement, integrated creative concepting, digital integration (social, paid, analytics), project management, and collaboration with other Edelman specialties.

We need a dynamic Senior Account Supervisor, who has a resilient nature, passion for building brands, and integratedexperience thatdrivesbusiness impact.Plus, theability to run a fast-paced business and partner with a team of integrated marketers to lead and grow remit through smart attention-grabbing work and elevated client relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Playa major rolein driving the research, planning, development and execution of comprehensive integrated communications and marketing events campaigns.
  • Build trusted client relationships, rooted in open dialogue, mutualunderstandingand respect; serve as client lead, providing daily strategic counsel and ensuring quality execution that aligns with each client’s business goals.
  • Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies across PR, digital/social, influencer, creative, with knowledge of traditional advertising mediums, such as TV, print, brochures, OOH, etc.
  • Serve as the brand steward with internal stakeholders, ensuringprogram execution is onbrand.
  • Make sure the team's work isearned worthyat the core, with a focus on landing headline leadingearnedcoverage.
  • Oversee quality and operational performance of accounts, ensuring work quality and deadline adherence, including overseeing junior staff’s work products to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Participate in cross-practice and cross-geographical teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal.
  • Manageyourteam'sperformance as it relates to client service and quality control, recommendingappropriate tacticsto clients and internal team leads on project implementation.
  • Effectivelycommunicateandpresentrecommendations and POVs to gain internal and client alignment.
  • Experience in an inter-agency team (IAT) environment – creative, digital, paid media, in-store etc. – and beable to lead and adapt creative solutions to fit those channels in collaboration with team and agency partners.
  • Understandthe value of earned programming and how “PR” has evolved and translatesintotoday's complex media environment.
  • Demonstratethe ability to evolve brands, promotethem,garnerattention,and drive consumer action.
  • Experience generating both quick-turn creative solutions as well as longer term programming,demonstratingagility and flexibility in your approach.
  • Demonstrateproficiencyin writing skills across internal and client correspondence, communications plans, clientpresentationsand press materials.
  • Partnership with measurement and analytics team to set client programgoals andmanage execution against them.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to grow a team by way of motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, and most importantly, leading by example.
  • Experience managingup, down,andaround whileworking with partners(internal &external), maximizing events and collaborations, as well as providing ongoing strategic client counsel.
  • Showfinancial acumen and the ability to lead a profitable businessand manage client budgets effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills and ability to supportateam inprioritizingdeliverables.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Communications and/or related fields.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience managing clients, including serving as day-to-day client contact, counseling clients on strategy, andpushingback when needed.
  • A comprehensive understanding of your clients’ businesses and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders (consumers, employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners, and other businesses/organizations, etc.) and ability to impart this knowledge to account team members.
  • Proven ability to manage large projects on one or more sizable accounts.
  • Experience managing teams, with the ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit the work of others.
  • Understand how to work with Project Management as a fundamental partner to execute integrated campaign plans.
  • Abilityto oversee budgets and staffingplans.
  • Provenlevel of comfortabilitywith tight timelines.
  • Familiaritywith best-practicecommunicationstactics and public relations tools.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunicationsskills.
  • Regular travel is expected to support client engagement, business development, and strategic initiatives.

    An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
