To achieve this vision, Edelman is building a critical new AI driven division that consists of four primary departments. We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking AI Solutions Engineer, APAC to join our team and help shape the future of AI-powered applications. In this role, you’ll design and build robust, scalable back-end systems that integrate cutting-edge GPT technologies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life, leveraging modern APIs, AI models, and automation tools to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain back-end applications utilizing modern AI chat and agent completion APIs.
  • Design and implement scalable cloud-based architectures that support custom GPT functionalities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective backend solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Continuously improve existing applications and develop new features aligned with evolving AI technologies.

    • Qualifications:

  • Foundational understanding of GPT models (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI API, prompt engineering).
  • Familiarity with tools like OpenAI’s Custom GPTs and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Strong experience in backend software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript or no-code/low-code platforms).
  • Experience with AI models, particularly GPT-based APIs, and integrating them into applications.
  • Hands- on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, and related deployment tools.
  • Understanding of database systems and RESTful/API design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with full-stack software development.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with OpenAI functionalities such as GPT Actions, Assistants API, function calling, finetuning and Copilot integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem.
