Director, Technical Accounting

📋 Description

• Subject Matter Expert on US GAAP for SaaS, incl ASC 805/842 and consolidations.
• Lead complex transactions: M&A and complex equity structures.
• Policy & documentation: author global policies and memos.
• Implement new FASB standards; assess impact on financials.
• Eng/IT partnership on internal-use software capitalization (ASC 350-40/ASU 2025-06).
• Oversee close, SOX, external reporting; coordinate with SEC/IR.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; active CPA license required.
• 8–12 years accounting experience; SaaS/tech; Big 4 preferred.
• Experience managing at least one direct report.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge; hands-on ASC 350-40.
• Cross-functional with Eng/IT; translate accounting into processes.
• Strong written/verbal comms; experience with NetSuite; Jira/Jellyfish.
