📋 Description

• Lead and grow global teams for Appian's cloud-native platform.
• Drive tech strategy and roadmap for scalable cloud platform.
• Evolve platform to automated, self-service infrastructure.
• Prioritize platform investments with cross-organization stakeholders.
• Attract and retain top cloud-native engineering talent.
• Coach engineering managers and leads for innovation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with SRE and support to reduce incidents and improve satisfaction.
• Champion DevSecOps to bake security into the platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in software development and/or infra engineering.
• 7+ years in engineering management of multiple teams.
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role (Director or Senior Manager).
• Deep AWS experience including EKS, VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS.
• Proven track record building and scaling cloud-native platforms with Kubernetes.
• Strong IaC knowledge with Terraform or Crossplane.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and automation-first mindset.
• Bonus: experience modernizing platform delivery at a large public software company.
