- Own technical authority for satellite bus design and architecture decisions
- Lead and grow the engineering team across electronics, thermal, GNC, power, structures, and flight software
- Drive the engineering schedule and ensure avionics box development hits milestones
- Lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR) and test strategy
- Define test strategy and acceptance criteria across subsystems and vehicle
- Coordinate with solar array, propulsion, and Haven-1 teams; drive make/buy decisions
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 10+ years engineering experience in aerospace or hardware-intensive industries
- 5+ years engineering management leading multidisciplinary teams
- Experience leading spacecraft or complex hardware development from design through environmental test and delivery
- Experience with full box development lifecycle: design, prototype, environmental test, CDR, flight build, ATP/QTP
- Comfortable as technical authority and making architecture-level trade decisions
