Director, Safety & Physical Security

📋 Description

• Own and lead physical safety and security strategy across offices, events, and travel.
• Build, scale, and operate physical security programs company-wide.
• Lead incident response for safety events, including threat assessment.
• Own and evolve the executive protection program, including travel security and event support.
• Assess and manage the physical threat landscape across violence, protests, travel risk, and disasters.
• Partner with Workplace, IT, Legal, People, and executives to align security priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security, risk management, or safety operations; 5+ years leading programs.
• Proven track record building company-wide physical safety and security programs in fast-growing, distributed, multi-region environments.
• Deep expertise in modern physical threat landscapes with crisis management and executive priorities.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and partnering with IT, Workplace, Legal, People, and leadership.
• Strategic, systems-oriented leader who builds high-performing teams and communicates with executives.
• Familiarity with cyber/physical risk and partnership with InfoSec teams.
