Director - Real Estate Credit, Fund Administration (Accounting)

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end fund accounting for real estate private credit clients, incl NAV and statements.
• Oversee accounting for underlying credit positions: interest accruals, OID/PIK, and fees.
• Review and sign off on complex waterfall calculations and LP/GP allocations.
• Oversee quarterly and annual financial statements (GAAP/IFRS) and investor capital statements.
• Lead annual audit and tax processes with external auditors and client teams.
• Mentor and manage fund accounting teams; hiring, performance, and development.

🎯 Requirements

• 10-12+ years in fund accounting, fund administration, or finance roles with CRE exposure.
• Deep knowledge of credit fund structures (debt funds, CLOs, bridge vehicles) and related accounting.
• 5+ years managing and developing teams in a high-growth environment.
• Strong GAAP skills; familiarity with ASC 946, fair value, and debt income recognition.
• Proven track record managing client relationships with senior finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
