• Strategic Leadership: Oversee ML Prediction and Motion Planning teams; set roadmap to a unified Large Driving Model.
• Technical Direction: Lead IL/RL efforts and VLAs to improve end-to-end planning in urban environments.
• Organizational Growth: Mentor sub-teams; promote sustainable engineering, safety, and velocity.
• Publish: Publish work at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and NeurIPS.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Perception, Infrastructure, and Systems Engineering for vehicle integration.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Leadership: 5+ years managing engineering teams; 3+ years with autonomous sub-teams.
• Sustainable Scaling: Track record growing teams while balancing debt and scalability.
• ML Behavior Expertise: Deep ML for robotics; IL and RL for decision-making.
• Unified Architectures: Guide integrated models (trajectory forecasting + ego-policy).
• Modern AI Paradigms: Familiar with multimodal AI, Vision-Language-Action models.
• Educational Background: MS or PhD in CS/Robotics/EE with ML focus.
