Director, Payer Contracting (MA & Medicaid)

📋 Description

• Negotiate MA & Medicaid value-based care contracts with payer partners
• Engage with payer partners to set/modify contract terms
• Collaborate with senior leadership to grow multi-year risk arrangements
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely implementation of negotiated terms
• Read/draft contract language and track deliverables; compile data and reports
• Build/manage payer relationships; resolve issues and identify opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 12+ years in healthcare contracts/negotiations in value-based care
• Results-oriented; able to influence outcomes
• Proven track record building relationships and communicating with senior management
• Attention to detail in contractual language and processes
• Master’s degree or advanced degree in management, health services research, health/public policy, or related fields
