Director of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting

📋 Description

• Lead SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K) and coordinate with auditors.
• Own technical accounting policy and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Prepare initial filings and SOX readiness for public company.
• Research accounting positions on revenue, business combinations, equity.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product to assess impacts.
• Drive scalable reporting processes and controls; leverage Workiva/ERP.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years accounting, incl 3+ years SEC Reporting at a US-listed company.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting; CPA required.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, FASB, SEC, AICPA, XBRL.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Product to identify issues.
• Strong analytical skills; independently analyze transactions; Workiva preferred.
• Team player, resourceful; willing to roll up sleeves.
