Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and coordinate S-1 registration statements for IPO readiness.
• Lead SEC reporting, including 10-K, 10-Q, and related filings.
• Serve as the primary technical accounting expert for ASC 718, ASC 842, and related areas.
• Partner cross-functionally on M&A accounting, system implementations, and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls enterprise-wide.
• Coordinate with external auditors and audits aligned with company strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Public accounting background (Big 4 preferred) with active CPA license.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior public company roles.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC rules.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SEC reporting tools (Workiva, ActiveDisclosure or similar).
• Proven experience in technical accounting research and complex transaction analysis.
• IPO readiness experience.
