Director of Revenue Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead core revenue, technical, and platform revenue accounting workstreams.
• Own global revenue reporting and financial audit processes.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing accounting team.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, including technical memos.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and technical accounting advisors.
• Partner with Finance on planning, management reporting, and treasury management.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years progressive accounting across public/private, incl. 3+ yrs at Big 4.
• Deep expertise with US GAAP and public company reporting.
• Extensive revenue accounting incl. complex reconciliations and high-volume payments.
• Proven success building and leading high-performing teams with empathetic leadership.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Sigma, Salesforce, Stripe, PayPal, and SQL.
• Cross-functional collaboration across finance, eng, product, and time zones.
