Director of Reserving

📋 Description

• Manages and directs the reserving team to complete recurring tasks on tight timelines.
• Turns data into information for decisions; presents findings to Senior Leadership.
• Selects actuarial assumptions and methods; defends them under review.
• Develops and maintains analytical standards and procedures.
• Monitors regulatory activity; incorporates changes into analyses.
• Engages with industry groups and rating committees; represents strategic interests.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Risk Management, Data Science, or related field.
• Fellow or Associate of the Casualty Actual Society.
• Minimum seven years FCAS experience with insurance concepts.
• Willis Towers Watson ResQ experience preferred.
• Data analytics skills; familiar with Excel, MS-Access, MS-SQL.
• Workers comp standards knowledge preferred.
