Director of Product Finance, Compute & Infrastructure Demand

📋 Description

• Serve as primary finance partner to the AGI Deployment (Applications) Infrastructure Engineering organization.
• Own the consolidated compute demand forecast with capacity planning to guide compute allocation.
• Own forecasting for infrastructure spend across products and key cost drivers.
• Build financial framework linking usage, model behavior, and infrastructure costs to margins.
• Develop insights into tradeoffs between experience, growth, and profitability (latency, throughput).
• Create ROI frameworks to evaluate compute/infrastructure spend across products and features.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years experience in investment banking, consulting, or buy-side with fast-growing operational exposure.
• Strong ability to evaluate opportunities and risks in financials.
• Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to craft data-driven narratives.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Familiarity with business models and metrics relevant to OpenAI.
